The Book Fair is our activity of bringing books to open fields in order to invite other people to read. This activity has been conducted frequently in Thomas Alva Edison TBI library in Tangerang and Pythagoras TBI library in Jember. So far, the activity is conducted in 5 areas by our staffs and library visitors.
We also expect this activity to facilitate easier access to books for children who live far from TBI libraries. We have learned that this activity brought positive impacts to people as the local residents are gaining understanding about the importance of building a reading habit since early childhood.
